Wow, I dont think I have ever been so tired from a day trip, but Im here, and you're getting your update:D

I went with Tifani today, who also just joined the boards

We started off at MGM, and...

--They have the new Haunted Mansion Movie Sets "The Making of the Haunted Mansion" facade out by the sidewalk near stage 4. I have a pik of it

--Mr. Wayne Brady was at the park today, and we got to see him. I absolutley HATE film crews in the parks, for many reasons, but He was there, and he was perfoming with the FOTLK performers.

--Somebody had a stroke/passed out on the Express Monorail, and had it WAY backed up

--I also noticed, they STILL have a billboard from "Blossom" hidden in the Studios

--They also have the sidewalk for the guest drop off (that comes alongside the kennels) closed for construction

--We got to walk through a CM only zone to get to the park entrance, cuz, they were treating us like ----, and shooing us around the filming scedule

And at the Magic Kingdom...

--In the Times Guide, it says, "Philharmagic-Fantasyland (tuesday, wednesday,thursday,friday,saturday)---Catch a sneak preview"

--I also noticed, that while for the frequent Philharmagic downtime, they were always working on the roof. Wonder why? Its a "Wishes" firing spot, and you can see the firework pipe thing coming off the roof. (this is what I was told, im not positive)

We were orginally going to leave at 6pm tonight, but we decided to stay and see Spectro and Fantasy in the Sky...To say goodbye, cuz I CANT WAIT FOR WHISHES!!

And of course, your friendly helping of stories

--Speaking of Wishes, a cm we were talking to, said she saw it, and its 10 times better than FITS, "simply amazing"...then we got to talking, and found out her HS Football team, Played ours last week, some junk she was telling me, I wasnt really listening

--Tif and I were wondering thru Liberty Sqare, and of course, we had to go ring the bell...We did, just like any other time, and this time, we walked away, and then, a CM come sout of nowhere, like he's ready to tackle us, and hes all "Do NOT ring the bell, the fence is there for a reason"...and I was like "Im sorry sir, didnt see a sign"..and we just kinda laughed and walked away

Theres some other (NASTY) stories, and a crazy chik at Philharmagic who had a problem with us, whatever, but, I'll keep those off of here:D

Oh yea, I also wanna note, we got Slushies, and went to go chill in Pinnochio's, and we walked in there, and it was so gross, unclean tables, Food, napkins, salad, spilt drinks all over tables, chairs everywhere, and not a janitor to be found.

I also for 6 more Hidden Mickeys in Phil...

Alrighty, Im wrapping it up, piks will be up soon, Night Night

That's so funny...its getting a little bit harder to see because I think the trees are growing in, but I look for it every year when I visit, and I can't believe its still actually up!

Thanks for the update! I LOVE WAYNE BRADY!!!!! My sister's friend was at the parks today and took a whole roll of film on Wayne! :lookaroun lol.

I just talked to my sister a few minutes ago, and she said she got to see Wishes tonight. And she said it is absolutly wonderful! And it brought tears to her eyes. I can't wait to see it! I know I will probably cry!

And the Orlando Sentinel said that bringing tears to guest's eyes (as the press release for Wishes suggested) would be a pretty difficult task for just a fireworks show. I seems like Disney will show them. This is the third person I've read/heard from that have seen these previews say that Wishes brought tears to their eyes. (Good tears, not tears of "what did they do to FITS"? )

I just got back from the Wishes testing at MK. They closed Fantasyland, Liberty Square, and Tomorrow land for fireworks fallout. I had to wait about 10 mins after the show so I could get to my entrance to the tunnels. It really smelled bad. Some of the fireworks fired pretty low so I guess that's why.

It is truly amazing. It did bring tears to my eyes. There is nothing else like this show anywhere ... and this was only a TEST! This will probably become my favorite of all the fireworks at WDW (but RoE will always have a special place in my heart).

Nick
To excited to sleep after Wishes ;)

PS Wayne Brady ate at my roommates' restaurant at MK today (Liberty Tree)

Any pics? I'm just kidding. But seriously, did you take any

Anyway, do you know how they are going to close parts of the park for the real showings? When the fireworks are shown at 9pm and the park closes an hour or two or three later, how are they going to funnel all those people out of those lands before the show, especially FL where those rides always seem to have hour long waits for Peter Pan and Pooh? Are they having any problems with fallout from the low pyros? DL has been doing something similar, so I imagine it shouldn't be a problem. Does anyone know how they handle clearing out the lands for DL's Believe around the pyro launch sites?

I'm glad to hear you really liked the show and am really looking forward to this. I hope your tears were of happiness and not irritation from the firework smoke :lookaroun

Wayne Brady's show will be done across from The American Adventure at the band shell / theater (forget the name sorry I got in late last night :))

The show is going to be done on the 5th 6th and 7th there are no tickets to my knowledge left for sitting in the audience but there is plenty of tv monitors setup for you to see outside the crowd.

I was there yesterday and allot of private parties where happening around Epcot and Disney in general it appeared

Yea, we saw him at both MK, and MGM. He had Hollywood Blvd, and Main Street blocked off. He was singing (a prerecorded) Circle of Life, and they had park extra's, all clapping and waving there hands. The picture I took of him (not the only one) was when he was filming on Main Street, and he was escorted to City Hall...We followed him in, since we were going there (to complain about Pinnochio's) and he went in, and went through one of the back doors in there....Yea, then I was told they dont take complaints at City Hall, I thought they always did?

CTX a little bird told me the testing schedule a couple of weeks ago and from the info they provided during testing only the crews involvded in the production of Wishes are permitted in the Fantasyland area. I would imagine once Wishes goes live that they will have to close Fantasyland down from Guests.

P.S. there should have been a test last night of the FULL show
