ISTCrew20's July 17th WDW Update

Hum.... well since Beverly tastes like crap!
I will challenge you to a Smart Soda (the watermelon soda from China) drinking contest. I beat out my friends on our last trip. Oh and a tip. If you take some smart soda in a bottle with you, dont drink it when its warm and you get off a thrill ride. Its a really bad combo! The soda tastes like you are drinking.... well lets not finish that sentence!
I do like Mezzo Mix, it tasts like Coke but altered a bit. And the apple soda was good to. I even made my own verson at home by mixing coke, simple syrup and a combo of 5 parts apple juice to one part apple seltzer.

Hey ISTCrew20 I have ben reading all your updates. you do a great job. I have been following your Ms updates including your letter you wrote in resposne riders getting sick, again great job. But, I have a question for you. I am planning on riding MS next week and was wondering, you have rode this ride 11 plus times and never had a problem until now. What do you think was the difference this time. Have they changed the ride in anyway? I am interested also because although i never get motion sicknes I do get a bit woozy from some video games and rides. And now I am a bit concerened

BAD Patrick! Don't do that on the first bud! You have to get through at LEAST 8 consecutive rides! It'd be hard to have a Beverly contest if you are on a stretcher!

Yea, I wasnt listening lol. Anyway, I think I have given up all hope of receiving the postcards, they havent came yet, and my friend hasnt got hers either. I forgot to include in the update. The tv that was usually black as your coming out of the postshow, was on, and it showed stars, and its said "HP +" or something like that

I'm surprised nobody has tried this. It works great. The only roller coaster that I've been on that it doesn't work for is "Batman" at six flags. I'll never ride that again. It keeps reversing direction too much. Since M:S just goes one way, dramamine should work great for anybody who is worried (unfortunately I haven't tried it yet).
Something else that I've read a few times that doesn't make any sense is people saying that they feel sick starting 1/2 hour or an hour after riding. I don't understand that. Motion sickness is caused by a "sync error" between your inner ear and eyes which causes the brain to go haywire. You should feel sick right after riding or while riding, not 1/2 hour later.

I dont know how it works, nor do I care, but I'll tell you, 10 times before, never got sick. My friend got sick right after the ride, I was fine, then we walked over to TT, talked with another friend for a little while, and then, while waiting for TT (all in all, like 20 minutes after we got off) it really hit me, and it was that feeling, ya know, when your sleeping, and you wake up, knowing you have to vomit, it was that feeling, but I didnt throw up....Thats why the pic in "Mya Humma", im not looking to good

It often takes several weeks to a month to recieve email postcards from other WDW locations so I would imagine this would be the same.
