I know it wasn't originally intended that way, but I love the tongue-in-cheek cheeziness that the ride has taken on. I seem to be running into many people who want the ride to change or close. I am a big fan of change at the parks, but this is a ride I think can really stay exactly the same. And if you haven't seen it at night during an evening EMH, then you haven't even really experienced it. Just wanted to know what people thought.

I agree, a night time ride is much better! I like silly, but maybe they could incorporate some new jokes into the script. This is a classic ride and they should never consider getting rid of it.

JC at MK could use some TLC and a few updates but should remain the same corny joke extravaganza that we all love. What would be interesting is if they added some night time only effects that could make a daytime and nighttime ride a little more different and open the door for a few new jokes.

Do they even have a script? I feel like each guide is different, some are more sarcastic, others witty. But some different night effects would be great, they could do a lot with lighting and different sounds and even some different looking night scenes.

yes they have a basic script, but they're allowed to play with it a bit which works well most of the time. I agree that the ride is supposed to be a tongue in cheek attraction and its what I love about it. It does need a bit of work, maybe a few newer effects and some work on the animatronics but it needs to stay a campy attraction. That's what makes it great.

I love JC, but I think every ride could use some tweaking every now and then. I'm not talking about a huge re-development, but maybe some changes with the script and newer technology involved with it. I can see how some people are getting tired of it and want to see it change.

LOL, I don't know why I didn't think of that

I've found that it is corny, but a lot also depends upon your guide...some you can tell are just working from a script, others ad-lib and are hysterical!

If I could bend your ear for a moment. They should just shuck some of the old AAs and add some of the newer amaizeing AAs to the ride. Todays pop culture demands the cream of the crop.:lol:
