And that in a nutshell is the problem at WDW, They just don't CARE as long as it makes money.
That's correct and that is why I have decided not to get ulcers over things that I have no control over. I don't care what they do. I still get some enjoyment out of going there and I still think that it is worth what I pay. That's the bottom line for me. When all that stops, you will no longer see my tired butt in the place. I'm sure that there are many others that feel the same way and contrary to popular beliefs there will be a ceiling where at some point people will be staying away in droves. I don't think that will happen during what is left of my lifetime, so it is of no concern to me. I will never see the fall of Disney. Someday perhaps, but, not close yet.

Well, if it's going to be dubbed Sal's Shades, than at least it's a Sunglass Hut in disguise, no?

Looks like as good a place as any to once again suggest that the Dole Whips move to the Sunshine Tree Terrace and they PROMOTE bringing a Dole Whip into the Tiki Room like DL does, instead of forbidding it.

We have the DL **** print framed of the Dole Whip stand outside the Tiki Room. And we bought it at WDW.

This will never make sense to me. Aloha Isle is a TERRIBLE location too.

It is as if Disney hates making money and branding sometimes.
Did I hear right?

Sunshine Tree Terrace is now selling Dole Whips?

And why was S H A G ****ed out?

Yea, Aloha Isle is a terrible location indeed. It should be shut down like the Veranda. It's a 70's place, not that there's anything wrong with that, but it should just close and they move the Whip to Sunshine Tree. I'm sure I'm not the only one here who notices the bad show there, when they refill the pineapple juice or Dole Whip concoction they use like, white buckets which make it seem like their pouring I dunno, lard or some other substance that is usually stored in those kinds of buckets.

I'm not impressed by it at all. I know the same type of signage has been there but it looks terrible and cheap.

I had tried to accept this change because, in recent years, the shop had reminded me more of a PacSun than a bazaar in the wilds of Adventureland. Perhaps it is just the pictures, but the store looks sparse and better suited for a boardwalk or beach community. To me, there is nothing Adventureland about it.

Sometimes, I wonder how close we are to seeing a Gap on Main Street, U.S.A. or Wilson Leather in Frontierland.

I have to agree...this is just wrong... Looks bad, takes you out of the thematic moment completely and transports you to your nearest mini mall... I think the Wilson'd Leather Express in Fronteirland is not far off...
Bad job!!~!

 Starbucks, Sunglass Hut and next Tommy Hilfiger?

Selling +$200.00 for a pair of sun glasses that cost probably less than $5.00 to make would make one think a few more dollars could have been put into a sign. I guess the banner does kind of give it the island market feel specially with the beautiful custom woodwork cabinets inside.o_O

Can't wait to see how many little kids accidentally walk out after jamming sunglasses on their face "Mommy!! Look at me!" Not to mention the amount of greasy fingerprints on the ones lower down. Not exactly my ideal place to buy high end shades.
