Is Walt Disney Imagineering dead?

Something like that lol.. Cars is a 2006 film, only making it 12 years old at this point (3 movies and loads of merchandise sales). The moment Cars Land becomes irrelevant, under our current management regime, is the moment i'd put money on them changing it in the future.

60 years is too long from now for us to know. I don't think $hapek's regime will change it, but god knows who will replace him.
Wrong, I thought we just discussed this. The franchise reset to 2017 with Cars 3. So 60 more years.

Chapek replacing Cars Land with a generic Route 66 theme in its place is within his character?
“So if the point is they want to swap out an attraction like Luigi for Coco and call it Route 66 Land, then that’s still a stretch. More likely Cars & Friends Land.”

Please quote it correctly. But Chapek won’t do it as long as Cars is profitable as a franchise. Keep wishing.

What Cars is failing to recognize is that dinosaurs are still around in the continent of Atlantis. The reason we haven't found these mythological UFOs is because of the American Civil War (circa 1954).

"Disneyland has a stupid people problem" - Walt Disney

Did Walt Disney really say this? I did a Google search and came up with nothing.

To be fair, Country Bears hung on for another 9 years after Critter Country opened and then another bear-inspired attraction took its place. It had nothing to do with the land change, which wasn't exclusive to a particular type of 'critter' as they say. :)

Country Bears only closed because DL guests didn't appreciate it in the same way FL guests did and it took up too much real estate by having a second totally unecessary theater because of how popular it was out in FL.

And then, in their wisdom, they replaced it with a disgraceful dark ride that didn't do much to help bring people to Critter Country.

Yeah here's proof.

@Disney Irish Bruh and I already discussed this and he seceded because of my hard evidence.
Oh ok. Well that all makes perfect sense.

I've never seceded from anything, let alone that discussion. I believe what I alluded to was that if you want to use memes to prove your point that it wasn't a discussion worth having. As you can't believe everything you read on the internet let alone a meme from the internet.

I'd like to believe that TROR is joking- and doesn't actually think Walt said that- but online, you can never be too sure.

I searched it as well.

A whole bunch of articles describing stupid things guests do at Disneyland and Disney World popped up, but nothing about Walt insulting his valued guests.

I think this quote will fit nicely next to Walt's cryogenically frozen body.
