Is Variable Ticket Pricing coming to WDW?

I just wish I had the money to buy tickets in advance for the next 5-10 years, that way I don't have to worry about this upcoming practice.

I also did hear that when this does happen that the annual pass is expected to rise $75-100 dollars.

I'm with those who kind of can't believe that they don't do this already (I mean, it's sensible business...I think even the Six Flags by us does variable pricing.)

I am curious as to how it would work for those of us who buy non-expiring passes and use them over a period of years, though. I've enjoyed being able to buy a bunch of days at once and then whatever is left is already paid for on my next trip (and as a bonus, not always having to buy passes makes it easier to convince my husband that we should go.) ;)

Disney tickets are a better investment than Disney stock. Buy tickets now and sell them next year for a 5-10% increase. You won't see that return on Disney stock.
