Is this true?

Please do not think I'm nuts! I do not profess in any way to know the 1st thing about Disneyland. I promise! My cousin, a member here (Kerby626), called me yesterday evening and asked me to post this. He's got his hands full with work and the new twins and all. He lives out in Oceanside and was listening to a local radio station doing some sort of Disneyland: True or False trivia game. The question that blew his mind was: Is the Haunted Mansion located inside of Disneyland Park? Of course he's yelling at the radio guy that --Duh-- of course it is. Then the radio guy gets around to the answer and somehow he said the answer was, in fact, false. The Haunted Mansion is NOT located inside of Disneyland Park. Again, I have never been there so I have no clue. We were wondering if it was a situation sort of like PotC at WDW where the actual building that houses the ride is not where you think it is (WDW's is actually on the outside of the railroad loop). Are there any DL experts out there who can explain why this radio guy would say this????

Thanks so much for your help!

And there ya go, cuz! I did what you asked! Love ya!

Correct the actual show building for HM is on the other side of the tracks and the mansion is inside the park berm, Hench why the streching room actually moves down to get you on the other side of the tracks.

As goes from Indy the Temple is on the inside and the long queue brings you to the showbuilding outside the berm, Pirates does the same but with the drops and the long caverns and treasure room scenes.

Small World too after the welcome/good bye rooms. and Splash to a point.

Ah-Hah! Thank you so much! That's what I was thinking might be the case. It was the only explanation I had that could make any sense.

Thank you muchly!
