Articles about the cabanas say otherwise.
What articles do you speak of? I've seen none on this thread nor have I come across any elsewhere. The two CMs we spoke to in two very different locations both said the food was NOT included. They still could be wrong. We will be there later this week in which, if time allows, we'll see what more we can learn about these beauties.

Orlando Sentinal...

Orlando Parks News..

"Amenities include private seating, snacks and reserved viewing for parades and fireworks. "

So, if you park hop to another park do you get to use a cabana in that park. And, is this price per day? 650.00 times however many days you stay? :greedy:
Good question about park hopping. They probably don't have that answer yet since these are being "tested" so there are none in the other parks yet. As for your second question, it is per day. If you want one for your 10 day stay...come with $6,500!

You must know or have a connection with a registered Member of the Club.
Either get extended a invitation by them to join them for a meal, or ask said Member if they can make a reservation for you.
Besides actually joining the Club yourself, it is the only way one can get in.

Most get in by knowing a Member who agrees to make a reservation, or they are friends of the person who was able to get a reservation.
Others are directly extended a personal invitation by the Member and enjoy the experience in a slightly different way, as a special guest of said Member.

You can also get in to Club 33 or 1901 Lounge by doing business with, or being hosted by, one of the companies that have memberships there. I have been to Club 33 and 1901 a few times in the last 15 years by being a guest of Standard Oil of California (Chevron). Those types of corporate guests make up a huge chunk of the people dining or drinking at either location, especially at dinner time.

And that's why a Club 33 has never been built in Walt Disney World, while Club 33's exist in Anaheim and Tokyo; the local business community of Orlando simply isn't big enough or affluent enough to support such a concept.

Hmnnnn...I'm a little divided here. How to Disney World fans feel about the ultra exclusive "Club 33" at Disneyland?

I don't mind the idea of exclusivity within the park. That's already been happening and I think that's fine.

But the tents don't fit the theming of Tomorrowland with isn't acceptable. And I don't like the placement of them in a common area. If they were set aside, secluded I think I'd be more okay with that.

I hope that the apologists have finally decided to stay in their caves. It's all beyond grotesque at this point. As my wife just said, we're done.

Them offering these things definitely won't cause me to just decide that "we're done" with WDW. It's a test. And hopefully it fails.

I don't hold any ill will toward the people that can afford these, and will rent them, but man I think it's just a terrible waste of money.

We'll be done with WDW once they price us out, or the value just isn't there anymore. Just like how we approach most of our financial decisions.

Exactly.....an upcharge is one thing...cutting into everyone elses vacation is another.
One could argue that some of the upcharge events DO in fact effect other peoples vacations. Something like the fireworks dessert party for example. You could make the argument that they are taking up two sections of the park that you should otherwise have access to. The lookout spot to watch the fireworks and prime real estate in front of the castle for more fireworks viewing. Think of it this way, Disney is slowly closing off sections of the park that you paid full price to enter, only to say "if you want to go in this area you have to pay more $$$". You could even take it as far as saying the Halloween/Christmas parties effect peoples vacations. If they didn't have these upcharge events, they wouldn't lose out on park hours when it closes early for the party to start. Of course you are also getting some extra decorations and what not so it's debatable.

Read some of the posts that I and others have mentioned above...per the CMs, these are NOT yours to use for the entire day, they are only available for your use. They are shared with others that also pay $650. Unless the CM wasn't clear, you wouldn't be able to leave your stuff there as home base.
If I pay $650.00 for a cabana and somebody else is in my cabana, there is going to be hell to pay.
