Is there a point in paying for Xmas/Halloween party?

Cast ethics aside, but is there really any way they can stop you from getting into these for free?

I have paid for the Xmas party the last 2 years, but anyone can get in the same time as the Xmas passholders (5-6pm) and there really is no way for them to kick you out.

Heck I don't think I even had a wristband the first year. It's dark out and the ride ops only check in the first hour of the night.

So my point is, any Tom, ________ and Harry could be right next to me with a season pass or hopper pass and getting all the perks.

Wrist band?

We have received our Halloween passes in the mail, seperate from the hoppers. Park closes at 6 and party starts at 7. So don't you need the Halloween passes to get back in? :veryconfu

Halloween party

We had dinner at the crystal palace. scheduled it for 6pm and ate from 6 to 7 then did all the halloween activities. We bought tickets for the halloween party but not one person ever checked them. It was really nice not having to leave the park and re-enter. I believe the crystal paplace is down for refurb though. Maybe a different spot in the park?

Have fun.

Erika,

They do not clear the park, they give out wrist bands. but how an they check every person in the park walking around at night who has/does not have a wristband

Nor if you had any clue about this, you would just walk around having a grand 'ole time thinking the park is still open.

They don't make any announcement or anything.

The last e-ride night, cast members were definitely checking wristbands.

As posted. I suppose you could stay after closing if you're eating dinner; but again, you could be in the park but not get on a ride (and getting on rides is part of the attraction) I guess you could just walk around, looking at the decorations, and eating the refreshments. I think I would be too uncomfortable to enjoy it.

On e-ride nights, no one is allowed into the park after closing...ticket holders must be in the park already. My recolllection of MVMCP was that there was a break between closing and the start of the party....and no one was allowed in without a ticket. I also thought they "cleared" the park at closing, then reopened, but it appears I'm mistaken. I don't think the few people who manage to beat the system by staying in restaurants, etc make a huge difference. (not that anyone here would ever do such a thing. ;))

I went to the halloween party last year and I'm certain MK closed at 6 PM to clear out for the 7pm party. People who had dinner resv. would have been the only exception.

Naw, we would have liked to, but we could not have swung it. So we got married in Illinois instead :p
