Is there a Place?

Hello all,

My family & I are going on our first Disney Cruise in a couple of weeks. We are psyched beyond belief. When we return, we'll be spending a few days off property and I was wondering if there was any place, or any way, to get a decent view of Reflections of Earth without buying a full day at Epcot? I've watched it from the gas station just outside the southeast corner of the lagoon but you can't see any of the globe or fire barge.

Are there any ways to do this or do we bite the bullet? It's the family favorite but I don't know if five tickets are worth it for a fireworks show. Thanks in advance for any input.

You can see the aerial shells pretty well from the Boardwalk area, but to actually see the Earth and Inferno barges, you actually have to be in Epcot.

Nope. There was a thread about this a few months back. To see anything like the proper show you need to be in the park. Kind of like watching Wishes from the MK parking lot.

There again, it`s worth remembering the Earth Globe has just returned after having new LCD pannels fitted. You may see footage on it you never saw before!

Good point. The family is thinking Universal after the cruise, since they've never done that, but I'm lobbying hard for Epcot. It would be a little more ride-friendly to my eight year old, and nobody but me has done World Showcase before. Plus, I just can't stomach the idea of being in Orlando and not doing at least one of the parks, even after a seven day Disney cruise.
