Is the Space Mountain refurb official or speculation?

It`s not a case of blocking out the view; it`s more protecting the TTA - and guests - from the potential of hundereds of tonnes of steel coming down way too fast. In theory theWEDway cars could be diverted via the storage garage in SMs north side, but with the lights out in there it`d be even more boring than SSEs finale

Up to now the muttering is the TTA will close for part of the rehab.

They could just reroute the track ( you know, where the incoming and outcoming trains from SM run side by side? ) and have it not go into space mountain. Just a though.:shrug:

I wouldn't mind if TTA was rerouted permanently so that it did not go into the mountain anymore. They could add effects and sets to the ride (TTA) to keep it popular and updated. That would then free up a lot of space (no pun intended) in the mountain for more effects or more coaster track :lookaroun. TTA going through the mountain has always been a safety/security issue, so rerouting the TTA would eliminate that problem. Also rerouting TTA would fix a major source of light pollution in the mountain and help keep the inside of the mountain cleaner and critter free . Just a thought :lookaroun
