The other flavors are okay. If I'm staying at Poly, I grab one of the other flavors while I'm at the pool, but I don't go out of my way for one.

I haven’t seen the American remake yet, but the British original is excellent.

As the person whose post gave rise to this thread, I can confirm that Dole Whip is indeed an abomination. How can it be anything else given the ingredient list?

I like Dole Whips so much that I will sometimes go out of my way to stop at the Pineapple Lanai at the Polynesian to get a Dole Whip to enjoy on my walk back to Shades of Green.

They really need to serve them AT Shades of Green, IMO

I don't think the kreme donuts were dairy-free, just not actual "cream." I think they had processed milk ingredients. That was a long time ago, but I recall it had a lot of chemicals! Donut filling comes in big buckets.

Are Dole Whips dairy-free enough that they don't bother you?

Dole whips are completely vegan and safe for all us df folks I wouldn't call them good for us but very safe

Agreed! Orange is the best Dole Whip flavor. Pineapple is good for a bite or two, but then it's just too much pineappleness (and I love fresh pineapple, too). I was very happy when I learned that there are other flavors besides pineapple. Some ice cream shops near me sell Dole Whip, but they only ever seem to have pineapple or raspberry (another flavor that gets overwhelming after a few spoonfulls, but I can eat more of the raspberry than pineapple).

I think calling it an abomination is funny, so I had to vote that. Good job @dryerlintfan . Plus when I go out of my way and screw up my touring plan to get one with rum it certainly seems like an abomination. Go ahead, change your vote if you want in light of this new interpretation.

Last time I was there they had a Dole Whip swirl with pineapple dw and vanilla soft serve and it was really great. It was enough to take the edge off too much pineapple.

I split the pineapple/vanilla swirl with my wife once. After a few bites I started trying to discretely scoop only the vanilla onto my spoon but she caught me. When we share an orange/vanilla swirl, I do the opposite but she still catches me.
