The road you are cross is a service road only to groundcrew NOT for regular traffic so no not really cross a "road". Crossing a golf cart path instead.

Anyway... The POINT was that it wasn't attached directly to the resort. That's all. Like I said - nitpicking. Sheesh. The road you are cross is a service road only to groundcrew NOT for regular traffic so no not really cross a "road". Crossing a golf cart path instead.
2014 was also right before the refurbishment. And during that time, I'd agree with you. We walked around the resort at that time and I said I'd never pay the money they were asking here. I compared it to an old folks retirement home. Then the refurb happened and when we checked it out, we instantly bought into DVC with Poly as our home resort. It is a massive difference.

The way you said it made it seem like they weren't right next to each other though. Sorry but it's not nitpicking when people are trying to clarify for others. Your road isn't a road as much as a path for Disney. Call it nitpicking, but I see it more of you not wanting to admit you worded it poorly.
Love the Polynesian and how you do have a direct path to the TTC from there since they are literally right next to each other and intentionally easily walkable. No monorail to the TTC to get to Epcot for us when at Polynesian. Heck even GF sometimes with the way the monorails go can be faster to walk.
but we are staying at The Poly again for our visit in July and I kind of hope it rains again! It's a matter of taste for everyone.
It is my favorite resort and yes it used to be... not anymore. I just can't justify the cost even with the AP discount. Maybe I am getting old.We usually never stay on property but if we decided to, we might stay at Polynesian. We would stay 6 nights, so it would be over 3,000. That is a lot compared to our usual stay, and our last stay on property at all-star music.
You're running out the back of MK, past the buildings where the parade floats are stored, down a back road that eventually connects to Floridian Way, if it's the same route we run when leaving MK during the Princess Half. That walkway from Poly to GF ends past the GF at the canal used to transport the water parade floats into the Lagoon.
