I'm confused as to what you thought they should have done from a film perspective?

He has a music album that came out about 10 years ago called Dead Mans Bones, amazing album and it very much channels the Haunted Mansion, one can tell his love for it and the huge inspiration it has had on him, he has mentioned the attraction frequently in interviews also etc over the years. Its great if you can find a copy of the cd. I think amazon has some for around $11 last I checked. If posts ever get back to the guy or if he reads here,,,huge fan here of that creative album, very cool, and ok lala land too.

Listened to "My Body's a Zombie for You" the other day on Halloween Radio! If anyone is qualified to act in Disney's HM movie it's that guy.

When I went to DL it was during the holidays so we did HMH. It was fine. Not a fan of NBC but didnt hate it. I did notice every ride was better than MKs versions. I remember TDL HM being nice if you like the classic version of MKs. All the effects and AAs were more noticeable and mobile, it wasnt as dark so you could see everything and appreciate it more.

Forget all that because it's temporary. Look at what was done to the original Journey Into Imagination/Figmund ride.
That's permanently disappointing and the number of riders waiting to get on this ride is my evidence and closing statement.

What if I instead they just made a NBC attraction... They already have the props and animatronics. All that's missing is the obligatory screenz and black box ride system. Then just clone it for DHS. Why bastardize the Haunted Mansion?

This would be a great use of the black box ride we keep hearing about. A dark ride which changes between seasons and promotions would be a natural fit in DHS or DCA IMO.
