Is Rainforest only for those who have had spa services?

Not sure if I want to book a massage yet but Rainforest seems very nice. Is that something I can just buy a day pass for like the fitness center or can I only use it if I have a service?

That seems reasonable. I'm going to try it!
It's definitely worth the $15-20 for a single day pass. You can also get one for the entire cruise (varies by cruise length) for less than it would be to buy a pass each day, but I doubt you'd use it every day. It's great for a relaxing hour or two though! And then maybe again later in the evening!

It looks really relaxing. How many people can go into each one at one time? IT looked like maybe 2 but my husband is concerned about sitting in there with strangers. I told him that probably everyone feels that way so if someone is in it, they just wait until they leave to go in.

Go into each what? Shower? I would say 1, maybe 2 if its a couple. I don't think anyone would hop in on someone elses shower.
As far as the saunas go, I would say they fit quite a few people at a time. It's normal to have other people in there with you. Everyone is wearing a bathing suit, so it's not weird.

Question about the day passes - if you buy in advance, do you have to pick which day you want to use it? I've read that they want to spread out when people use them so that it doesn't get too crowded, so do I have to pick the day I want when I buy/board the ship, or can I just walk up that morning? Thanks! :)

Just a tip... If anyone is looking for a cheap-o spa treatment that is fantastic, check out the "Frangipani Scalp Treatment". It cannot be booked in advanced, and isn't listen on any spa menus, you have to just ask for it. Last I checked it was about $40 for the treatment. It takes place in the salon and involves a scalp massage with amazing smelling oil, which is phenomenal for your hair, and a neck and shoulder massage. Super relaxing and the oil treatment is wonderful for your hair. You can thank me later!

You can walk up that morning, but they do sell out sometimes! :)

Why didn't I just email you directly?! :p

So, I was thinking we'd pre-purchase the pass ahead of time - I can see it in my online check-in area. So I should just walk up that morning with the pass and say "lemme in!" and I'm good? :)

Lol! It's okay, I'm sure others have the same question!
It seems Disney goes back and forth about picking days when you order beforehand. Sometimes they'll ask you to pick a day. Sometimes they don't. It's possible they only start asking when a certain number are sold, but I doubt they're that on top of it. :)
If you have to pick a date, pick what you think you'll want. Then when you get onboard if you need to change go talk to them!

what do you have access to with a day pass to the spa? do they have hot tubs? I know you can rent a "room" with a veranda that has a private hot tub but I was curios if they had them in the rain forest area.

No hot tub, but the Rainforest has steam aroma therapy rooms, heated tile lounge chairs and more! Super relaxing! Ahhhhh......
