Is it possible....

Is is possible to do Fantasmic and Illuminations on the same night? We're going to be pressed for time but would like to see both shows. Any thoughts?

If there in an early Fantasmic (say 6:00-7:00) you can walk fast, and you are not particular about your view then yes you can do both in the same night.

Does the boat go directly from MGM to Epcot? Or do you have to get off at a resort and re-board?

On second thought the line to get on the boat itself would probably kill their chances.

All boats will stop at Swan/Dolphin, Boardwalk on the way. Even if there was a direct boat, crowd sizes at that time of day would never allow you to make it to Epcot by 9.

That's sorta what I figured. But once you're on the boat it goes all the way to Epcot without getting off, just with stops along the way then.

Guess it's 'walk it' like Master Yoda said. I tried

About the only way the boat will be faster than walking is if it boarding as you are walking by and you can get on it. Otherwise you are better walking.

And if you are able to get on the boat quickly, you should get off at the Yacht and Beach Club, then walk to Epcot. That'll save you the trip to the Boardwalk before the boat finally goes to Epcot itself.

Possible. As others have said, walking is your best bet. Depends on how good a walker you are.

I have also seen I:ROE at EPCOT and then Wishes at MK in the same night. Made it to the hub for Wishes too. You have to watch I:ROE from the shore right by the bridge to Furure World and then book it to get on the first Monorail out. That may be an option for you to double up if you have to.

Ooooo how about the hat trick. Fantasmic, I:ROE, and Wishes all on one night ! :) Come on, you know you want to try. :D
