Is it possible to do Fantasmic and Osbourne lights in one night? We are planning to be there on the 11th and park hours are till 8 that night. Fantasmic is at 6:30. Should we try to squeeze in another day?

You might be able to technically do it but you might not get the seat you want or a seat at all at Fantastic and you will be rushed at Osborn Lights.

I would plan on another night. If you are doing AK any night on your stay, try to bounce over after that park closes.

We are going the week prior to Christmas and DHS closes at 8:00 for every night we are there. We are hoping they will announce extended hours soon! Can't imagine they won't extend to at least 10:00!

You most definitely CAN do it! :D We did F! back in 2010 at the 6:30 showing and got out with plenty of time to grab some cocoa and then make our way through Osborne Lights. I know we saw them dance at least 3x...maybe 4. And we spent the time in between songs just checking everything out. We never felt rushed or anything like that. Park closed at 8 as well, but I can assure you that nobody was being rushed out.

It's can be done, when Fantasmic lets out expect that the Osborne Lights to see a large surge in the amount of people. We went a few times last year, and when Fantasmic was on, the crowds were low, when the show ended it got much more crowded for a while.

We will be there 11/9-11/15 and this will be our first time actually seeing the Osborne Lights.

How do the lights work...is it a show that repeats at regular intervals, if so, how long does it last, etc?

We plan on hitting the 6:30 Fantasmic and hitting the O Light's afterward.

Thanks!
Dave

It seemed like it was a handful of non-dancing songs in between dancing. i.e. there will be intervals where the lights are just lit and Christmas music will play in the background. I believe there is a recorded voice that speaks just before the lights dance each time...and each time they dance it will be a different choreographed song. You should be able to pull up videos on YouTube to see a variety of the dancing songs...plus there are some vids of people walking through the lights during non-dancing times. It also looks like there's a new song being added to the lineup this year.
