So last time I went to the parks, I sent texts and called people and never got anything in return. Well, whenever I step foot out of the parks, my phone starts buzzing out of control! I also have AT&T iPhone. I have all 5 bars and everything and I still dont recieve anything! What's going on?

I had some issues as well last week, and I'm on AT&T also (IPhone). I don't know if it was interference from the rides/attractions/buildings or something else. But certain areas of the parks were definitely more "user-friendly" than others.....

I've had AT&T and T-Mobile, and both services worked fine at the Parks. This involved three different phones over time. Sorry.

Never ever had a problem here... I mean except deep inside the line for Pirates or Splash... but that makes a little more sense to me.

Verizon works fine for me, haven't had any cell issues since about 1996 in the world. I miss the old days when cell phones would only work very spotty in the park. Remember the first trip that my mom had a cell phone with her and the only place it would work was in front of SSE in Epcot and no where else on property.

My husband and I both have Verizon. He has full internet on his and I just have regular calls and texts. We have different makes of phone even though we have the same provider. My phone works great in all of the parks. I like taking pictures and texting them to facebook and to my friends. My husband's phone barely works at all so maybe it's the phone and not so much the service provider?

I'm at WDW now and I'm posting from my iPhone in the resort. My wife and I have been texting each other back and fourth all day because we've been splitting up to do different things with the kids.

I have Sprint and it would seem data is the only thing that I ever have a problem with. No doubt there isn't heavy data pipes for 3G since the know everyone on WDW will be hammering it. I tether with my Pre rather than pay for Internet when staying on property. Sometimes I have to turn off roaming to make it work better and also stop draining my battery so quick.

I had trouble texting my son's iPhone from mine once, but it was fixed by resetting his network settings and all settings - turns out this should be done every so often. iPhones bog down after a while.

But generally, never had an issue in the parks.

If your problem was on New Year's Eve, it might just have been network volumes.

I have sprint. Only ever had signal problems deep in EE queue. Sometimes, it's specific models, not network. i.e. my dh has the instinct(sprint version of Iphone). I get better stronger signals EVERYWHERE than him. I have the Rant.

I get brutal service when I'm there.. luckily I've figured out the spots at MK that get service.. most of the other parks are accessible (and I'm on a Canadian carrier!).

I have never had problems with Verizon. But my in-laws were in Epcot in March and had issues with their iPhones. They kept sending us texts & pictures and we weren't getting anything at all. They thought we were ignoring them.

I have Verizon, and have never had any issues in the parks. I have a friend who has At&t, and she has trouble getting service while in Epcot a lot.

I have Verizon and can't remember a time I had trouble there. Maybe some of the "magic" Disney uses messes with the AT&T or IPhone signal. I try not to be on the phone in the parks though... unless it's to gloat about being at WDW.
