Is it a pass holder or locals mentality that's the issue.

Thankfully The California Grill doesn't usually have those type of people up there, or cheesy Disney songs ruining the mood. Just the music during the fireworks. The only things that the video shows that are accurate are the food and the great views. That and the observation decks are worth going up there for dinner. I always enjoy my meal up there.

This most likely isn't the case for DL annual passholders, in general. I can tell you a lot of people wouldn't be able to buy annual passes at all, if it weren't for Disneyland's monthly payment plan.

Speaking of DL, are you a DL AP? I could have sworn you said you visited DL once and found it boring. Maybe I'm thinking of someone else.

You have a very good memory!

Yep, I must have missed something at DL, because other than a few attractions being a little longer or different, and going on the submarines, we were both pretty underwhelmed and left with a "once was enough" attitude. Glad we got to see it, but glad we live in FL.

Interesting you browse in the DL forum/post in threads. But whatever floats your boat.

This is the video. It's amazing in every way possible. I think that even the Mya Space character knew she was surrounded by the certifiably insane. Her quote "it's so good to be here with all these highly influential and very important people"...classic, openly mocking them and they don't get it. The guy in the green shirt with the beard, oh my. It's a real who's who of WDW nerdocity.

This was embarrassing to watch. Wow.

I still find it a bit scary that some folks, like Mongello, pulled up stakes and left good jobs in other places so they could follow their dream of being surrounded by the Magic 24/7 and dedicating your life to Disney World Podcasting. Of course, he apparently gets tons of perks from Disney for being their biggest schill (Brigante is #2).

Millennials are the most entitled people ever.

Ima stop you there and say when it comes to Disney it's not an age group exclusive thing. There are people of all ages that feel they're entitled to have a great vacation, that people should be removed for whatever reason at their behest, that certain rides, restaurants and whatever else should be up to THEIR standards. Without trying to single people out, I've seen a lot of that happen on here as well, and I'm sure some of it hasn't come from the younger generation.

The false sense of celebrity the Internet gives some people just reinforces their mental illness.

Right. It looks like most of them were genuinely there to have a good time and enjoy themselves, but I did spot a few...off people.

I'm a Disneylander and post in the WDW threads. I've only been there 3X but still enjoy discussion about those parks.

Yes, I know. Seems you post more in the WDW forums (I believe I only recently saw you posting here), which is fine because I'm assuming you enjoy WDW, no?

I wouldn't expect someone to post here if they didn't like Disneyland, had a boring time, and decided one trip was enough. I'm not saying there's anything wrong with that, but I'm just genuinely curious as to what interest one would have here if they didn't like the park. Really, I have no problem with it.

I don't want to get off-topic for too long. OP, where did you go?
