Is HDDMR worth two dining credits?

Absolutely worth 2 dining credits. One of the best, if not the best dinner show on property. The food is good and the show is funny and very entertaining. The kids will have a blast. And the adults will probably have even a bigger blast. Make sure you tell the host or hostess it's your 7 year old's birthday.

You have been to WDW 24x and never seen Hoop Dee Doo?!?!
It is absolutely worth the two credits. My DW and I went for the first time last year (just the two of us no kids) and we loved it. Now with kids I bet it will be even more fun. We're taking my father-in-law this year to WDW and one of the first things we booked was HDD because we had to have him see it.

there's also a buffet in Fort Wilderness - Trails' End. Food's good, and for a dinner, it might be the best value at WDW. I suggest using your two credits for Hoop De Do, then "balance" out the loss of a table-service meal by having dinner at Trails End another night. You can also use that night to take the kids to FW's campfire singalong & movies under the stars. A good, fun, low-key family night.

We are doing this for the 1st time in December, and I think it's the one thing I'm looking forward to the most. Teenager DD never wanted to go, so this time I'm taking my sister & her 2 grandkids. Since I'm the trip planner (and paying, too) thye don't have a choice!!

PLease have your wife read this thread! HDD is not just for kids! My wife and I went by ourselves and we had a blast. We had much more fun than we did at Ohana and the food was better (in my opinion).
There is a reason it is the longest running stage show in the US. It is because it is just good fun. Would I put it in the same categorey as Wicked? Well of course not, but it is really worth seeing with or without kids.
Come on bgraham34's wife, take your husband to the show. You're on vacation, enjoy and be a little silly!:wave:

Think of it this way... 1 credit is for the food, and 1 is for the show. If you just want to have a good meal, then head over to the Trail's End Buffet, as suggested above. But if you want to see a good show, while you happen to be eating dinner, then go for it! It's a very funny show, and my family always enjoys it.
However... one caveat: It is "technically" all you care to eat, but do keep in mind that they've got a show to put on and get you out of there in time for the next one. When we went last January I was 3 months pregnant at the time, and I didn't get nearly enough to eat..:lookaroun They kept taking the food away from me, and it was hard to snag refills while the show was going on. My family thought I was crazy for caring more about the cornbread than the corny jokes. :hammer:

Agree, HDDR is worth it. Our kids, and us, enjoyed the show. The only
minus was I felt a bit rushed during the courses, but I understand why.
They have 2 shows to put on. I just had another glass of wine and was

The DH was selected as the angel in 2004 - posted a great photo of him a few months ago on here. Another vote for it here. It's a fun show and the food really is delicious.
