Is Epcot forever done for good?

Where coming close to the projected opening season of Harmonious, there will likely be no shows right away when the park opens which leads me to think that they may just go straight to the Harmonious opening night at this point.

With a name like EPCOT FOREVER I'd expect it to be here for a while...Maybe sans the kites....

They could do like Epcot Forever weekdays then Harmonious on weekends. Just to save money. Happily Ever After will not likely happen anytime soon since the hub is small unlike World Showcase where they can spread people out.

Nothing really. It would just be the one thing they wouldn't be using for Budgetary reasons..They'd just add more fireworks to those said segments they are used...

Okay, I see that- although I would argue that kites (which are re-usable) are possibly more budget friendly than fireworks (can only use once).

Except the kites are constantly broken. If they quit using them, they wouldn't have to worry about repairing them.

Of course, considering how often they've used them while they were partially broken, maybe it just doesn't matter.

think about the logistics of what you are theorizing... First, there would have to be some capacity control at both of the entrance gates of Epcot. They would also need capacity control at all of the transportation links to Epcot (can't have a bunch of people arriving on boats, skyliner, buses and then no where to go). Then, there would have to be capacity control at all of the entry points to the World Showcase. That capacity would need to change prior to the show as there would likely be more guests in the WC shows/attractions/restaurants than would be allowed to remain for Epcot Forever (or any evening show). And, CMs would need to somehow enforce social distancing at all of the rails, paths, bridges, etc. around the lagoon. Realistically, the only way to control capacity for the evening show is to shut down the entire World Showcase several hours before the show, and only admit people with an advance reservation (FP+, Boarding Group, etc.). Disney would cancel evening shows before they would implement that type of capacity control.

On the other hand, almost everyone on this forum hates Epcot Forever, so there should BE no capacity control problems, because no one (except me) wants to see it!

Problem solved, next!
