is downtown disney store an actual "disney store"

I have a 10 off a 50 dollar purchase at the disney store,
but is the downtown disney store a 'disney store" ??
can i use this coupon there?
we leave next week and if not, i will use it before I go.

If you are referring to World of Disney, then your answer is no. The Disney Store is the store that is found in the mall. Those are the only stores that Disney Store coupons will work at (since they are the only Disney Stores).

World of Disney is the huge store in Downtown Disney that sells all that great Disney merchandise that I just can't resist. However, it is not part of the official Disney Store chain you see in malls throughout the country. Any offers for Disney Stores are only good in their mall retail shops and cannot be used at World of Disney.

Im so glad you asked that question! So very many folks get upset when they are unable to use those coupons....WOD carries mostly Resort exclusive merchandise, with a few of the crossover items, such as snowglobes. Its a great pace to shop!

I just tried to use a Disney gift card at WoD in Downtown Disney. No Good. They are not part of the Disney Store chain I believe the gift cards, special offers etc can be used in the stores in your local mall or in the Catalog. Some items may be cheaper in the stores in the Mall I bought Beauty & the Beast in the Mall for $15.99. In Disney (downtown and everywhere else) it was $19.99. Shop Smart!! Belle
