Is Blizzard Beach always closed in December?

It seems everytime we go down in December, BB is closed. Do they alternate years between BB and TL or is that the norm?

While I don't know whether they alternate *every* year, I do know that they routinely switch which water park closes for first for the winter refurb.

Thanks Rob, I looked for this year, but they don't have a schedule for rehabs/closing for December.

Advanced notice is posted on this site and other locations, so you can plan accordingly...maybe not to plan your vacation, but knowing what will be out of commission.

I wouldn't say they "routinely" alternate. Ever since BB opened, it was always closed after Christmas until February or March, and TL closed in the late Fall until Christmas--this year, they switched the order from this norm b/c TL needed an extensive refurbishment and was closed for almost 6 months.
