The question is, is it crowded or are we seeing the effects of the FAILED LL system? What do you consider crowded? Even Star Tours is running an outdoor queue right now.

ST is currently listed as a 15 minute wait. And we've walked through the outdoor queue even when it's been 15 minutes or less. What do you consider crowded? Even Star Tours is running an outdoor queue right now.

We've wrapped around outside for a listed 20 minute wait. Don't know what else to tell you other than that... it happens. And it's not indicative of the parks being "mobbed" (which you know).Yet I'm actually here and I can't remember the last time I saw the queue for ST wrap around several times outside.

What about “saying a particular restaurant or park APPEARS to be crowded” on a random day or time is not DEFINITIVE is not being understood?
That is anecdotal…Disney own comments on their quarterlies and Iger ego interviews is definitive. At least in Florida…attendance is down. For the those not understanding the translation: that means less people.
So here is the sitch: attendance is down…they are increasing prices across the board to try to make up. And as they do that…more attendance will decline.
It’s the Dutch door of bad management.
Now can we cut out the dusty stupidity and have a slightly higher dialogue?

The current LL is mostly like the old FP+ plus system, the difference is when stuff like this happened with FP+ folks would just chuckle and go on with their day. Now with LL, it feels like a rip off - In my opinion. When someone enters LL for The Muppets at the same time I enter Standby, waits exactly as long as I do for the doors to open and sits next to me at the same time, I wonder if they question what they just paid for?
Yet I'm actually here and I can't remember the last time I saw the queue for ST wrap around several times outside.
Its literally been two years since I've done Star Tours... not my cup of tea.
BUT... BUT... ATTENDANCE WAS UP 1% FROM LAST YEAR!!!! Bob's plan is working!!!What about “saying a particular restaurant or park APPEARS to be crowded” on a random day or time is not DEFINITIVE is not being understood?

But others were just telling us how busy the parks were, no dining availability, et al. You must be mistaken.Yup. I can tell you there is an abundance of ADR availability, resort pools are relatively empty, buses and monorails are just moments away, there are no lines at concessions and few people are paying $6 plus for Costco samples at Epcot.
Yet attraction queues are more indicative of much busier times - thank God it's NOT crowded
And VQ's need to be abolished.
Muppets is great when it's 95+ outside, a nice respite.I hear ya. Just got out of Muppets, hadn't been in there since 2010 and now I remember why.
Am getting some chuckles for my "Last Time" button though
Attendance in WDW was actually up?BUT... BUT... ATTENDANCE WAS UP 1% FROM LAST YEAR!!!! Bob's plan is working!!!
Just ignore attendance figures from before the pandemic.
Availability of amenities is key for customer satisfaction. With the reduction in DAS and it's coupled party crowding of the "least wait time queue" the standby line moves again. Availability of dining isn't currently an issue. These too we observed in late September and hopefully will do so again this weekend.Numbers are what they are and no one is disputing them.
Even though the parks and restaurants were busy when we were there, we didn’t have long waits to get seated in the restaurants and the LLs moved quickly.
The resort pools were busy but we managed to find places to sit. When the buses came, with one exception we were able to get on the first one.
I’m not mad at those things.
If Disney management is so bad that the best they can offer is a choice between uncomfortable overcrowding and Disney going out of business I’ll take the latter and enjoy it while it lasts.
We were a large group with a wide age range, but we managed to do most of what we wanted and had a fantastic trip.Availability of amenities is key for customer satisfaction. Many complaints, but it seems to be working.
