I'm glad you were able to enjoy Universal, but all I'm reading is that Universal is having a slow week while Disney is not. It's fine to switch where your APs will be, but I don't see how basing it on wait times is really valid.

The decision wasn't based on wait times. It was based on overall value. For instance, with the AP discount we can book Cabana Bay resort next year for as little as $114 a night.

Although for many I'm sure wait times could also be a legitimate consideration.

Cabana Bay for $114 is an excellent value compared with WDW. The amenities are more like a Moderate resort at Disney, and you can walk to the parks in 15-20 minutes.

A little worried about these anecdotes re: Touring Plans. I bought the subscription to try for the first time in early December.

Plus, The Waterpark in less than ten min with exclusive hotel entry.

I was surprised that we never once had to wait for a bus coming from or going to the parks. One was always waiting.

LL makes it difficult to forecast wait times. Here's a current example, we just passed the queue which has filled the outdoor area. Right after we got in line the posted went down to 65 and we actually waited 30:

The actuualwait time was about half the time estimated by Disney when you entered the queue and more then double TP expected wait time

Just got back from an 11/10-11/17 trip and I felt it was less busy than previous years
We were able to get dinner reservations on day of easier, rides were very short wait times - even the good ones- food booth lines in Epcot were way less packed

That all changed Friday night in Epcot - it was crazy in WS.

All in all- I felt like it was less crowded all week

I was there just as you were arrived (11/1-11/5) and it was busy and reservations were hard to get.

I paid for LLMP each of the 3 park days I had and I found them extremely useful since we were hopping. We weren't ride heavy this trip though. But across three days we did almost every ride that we wanted to with it.

We are big park hoppers too. It's amazing how quickly the Standby queues move when there isn't anyone in the LL. It's why rope drop is still the best time.

Based on a few wait times (I'm obviously not going every ride every day), it looks a bit above average for the last 10 years. HOWEVER, to your point, it's fascinating that the longest wat times on the graphs trend towards 2022/2023/2024, and we know for a fact it is significantly less busy during these time frames (at least 2022/2023) than it was in like 2016/17/18/19.
