Just a few days down? It needs a lot more maintenance than a few days. Switching over the program only takes a few hours. Maybe they bought some light bulbs from Home Depot for the light tunnel? Here is to hoping they light the asteroid!

Well, all things considered I suppose it shouldnt be too much work to fix some of the broken effects. When you break it down, space mountains magic comes mainly from the lighting.

>>A fleet of X-Wings, TIE fighters and Star Destroyers will soon be departing Hyperspace Mountain as the often-extended limited-time run of the Star Wars overlay on the Tomorrowland roller coaster finally comes to an end.

Hyperspace Mountain will close on Jan. 7 to remove the Star Wars overlay from the indoor roller coaster, Disneyland officials said. The classic Space Mountain attraction is expected to return a few days later, officials said.<<

I still say when you turn that first corner and the Star Wars music blares and all of the wings report in is more exciting and more "Star Wars" than anything in Batuu or MFSR.

Just because SW:GE is a failed endeavour in alot of eyes, doesn't make it right for TDA to take over other attractions to help fill the void. Tomorrowland needs it's identity back.
