Incorrect. From Merriam-Webster: "The third, and debated, use of irony regards what’s called situational irony. Situational irony involves a striking reversal of what is expected or intended" it IS ironic because he defended HMH passionatly against my hatred for it and now he has a hatred for the overlay of another classic ride in which many seem to enjoy that overlay.

And you're more than welcome to defend Hyperspace against my opinion of it. Is that irony too?

I have no official stance on hypserspace for I have not ridden that version nor really care to. I am just enjoying how much it annoys you.

i rode HSM yesterday and noticed the lighting was way different; they’ve added a massive starfield to the walls as opposed to the ride’s usual pitch-blackness. i’m curious as to when they did that

The slapped-together-ness of the Star Warsian version is hilarious. They blare the theme as you turn into a completely unthemed section that is brightly lit, then you're in pitch blackness where they usually have actual stuff.
