I just want to know when it's coming to verizon!
We will see the outcome of the future iPhone on June 22 this year!! Yay hopefully they'll announce an iPhone 4G for Verizon. The CEO of Verizon has asked for the iPhone before, he said so.
No.
If a Verizon iPhone is coming this year, don't expect it in June. AT&T might still have that contracted exclusivity for awhile, so the current word on the street is that it might be on track for a Sept/Oct iPod event unveiling. And when that happens look for CDMA, not LTE.
And these are HUGE ifs.
The contract for the iPhone with ATT ended last year and was resigned for one more year. The production on the phone wouldn't start until around September or after and it would probable come out in Spring 2011 if it happened. I'm stuck with a blackberry curve 8330 right now and am bored with it. I'm just going to wait and see. Although it could be announced in September, I don't know? My sources, CNET and Engadget, estimate the iPhone event. We shall wait and see iPhone devouts, maybe not devouts, but followers in a sense.
Sorry Spring 2011 was my prediction. It just seemed sort of right due to the time of what could be the production starting date. Also it is a popular season around Easter and now people are getting gifts for Easter instead of just candy. Soooo it was just my assumption.I have never heard of Engadget predicting an announcement and launch in spring. My source of of information is John Gruber. Apple has never launched a phone in spring, only in the late summer and fall time frames (fall time frames have been for international releases obviously.)
We shall see...
