I am glad that I am not the only one that thought that.

Jobs is saying this is the way to deliver advertising: inside apps, instead of in search. -- No way!! Stealing from Google? Another direct lift from Android. How original. :rolleyes:

but yes... when google devs do it.. they are free apps... cause the advertising $$$ makes up for the cost of the apps.

What crap. :brick::brick:

One thing that can't be argued with though:

50 million iPhone's sold and 65% of the mobile browser share. The others all combined don't even make up half of the browser space.

If I may actually quote the man, who hasn't said anything about multitasking being "revolutionary."

“We weren’t the first to this party, but we’re going to be the best. Like cut and paste — it’s better than any other implementation. It’s really easy to implement it in a way that really drains battery life. And, it’s really easy to implement it in a way that reduces the performance of the foreground app and makes your phone feel sluggish.”

Well... I think this explains why Jobsy was having coffee with Eric Schmidt from Google the other week. I think that Jobsy was telling him: "Look.. we are just going to steal all your **** anyways... and throw a lower case "i" in front of it" LOL

Yep, multitasking has been around for a long long time, but I've yet to see it done well on a mobile device. WIll be interesting to see iPhone OS4.

Are you going to say Google stole the idea of an OS from Microsoft and Apple? ;)

Yes.. I know.. that was me being funny. :shrug:

I thought that was rather apparent with all the "!11!11" and plain as day sarcasm. :shrug:

Jobs is still a theif though *allegedly*... and I cant wait for google's response.
