But we can and have always been able to criticize our government without fear of prosecution and that’s what makes America so great.

Including Clinton ;) (I'm only teasing you, Snow White)

In another time it would be considered treason to utter such words and now it's just socially exceptable to say that you hate the leader of our country. Well if you hate him so much and what he stands for why don't you just go to another country or better yet why don't you emulate the lifestyle of someone who has no respect for the office (ie. Clinton), my girlfriend worked for Clinton and let me tell you it's not something that she brags about today. Kids these days have no respect for this country or those who try to make it a better place to live. I see it in my son and politics is what puts bread and butter on his plate!! NO RESPECT!! Most of you who criticize the government want it all from the government. I am sorry I am so rambling but it outrages me to see people criticize those in authority!!

I am under the age of voting. But I have respect for my president, I believe he is a smart man, who is making some good choices but in my mind some of his choices are just down right wrong. That could be because I'm a far right conservative, and Bush is just a regular Republican but like I said, I'd rather have him than gore. I also had respect for Clinton, as a person up until the Monica lewinsky stuff, after that when I found out what Clinton did in his terms as president I now have no respect for him as a person.

whoever says that they hate the military needs to remember that we wouldn't have these freedoms we so take for granted if it hadn't been for the military. So next time Testtrack you try and criticize the military just remember that without our men and women fighting over there you wouldn't have the freedoms to speak your own mind. There's a lotta PRIDE with serving in the military and I for one thank all those troops who help preserve our freedom! I dislike war as much as the next person but its a neccessary evil. We can only pray to God for everyones safe return but knowing that their defending our country is a nice to know. God bless 'em! :)

No we are going to war with Iraq no matter what the media or the White House press core says we are going. You don't mobilize every military organization in the US just to back down. Don't call the people of N. Korea fools if anything we are the fools for not treating them as equals. All they want is to be treated as equals especially when it comes to negotiations. Its people like N. Korea who show the people of the world that the US's foreign policy is flawed economic sanctions is not the way. By the way economic sanctions was what brought us to war with England around…1776.

Tee Hee, far be it from me to stir it but one of the reasons of anti US feeling is its apparent arrogance. This is not helped by a poor understanding of the world and your own history, you weren’t at war with England but Britain. The reason I stress this is that a significant proportion of the UK military is from the Celtic nations and that it has been disproportionate to their size.

As for doing your bit, we don’t have national service or the draft, Its hard enough to motivate a bunch of squaddies who are volunteers god knows what it would be like if they are pressed men.

As for the comment about politics being pants, it is the willingness of others to make sacrifices that allows you the right to make that statement.

While I can’t say I don’t enjoy a bit of Bush baiting the freedoms you are squealing about loosing are nothing to those lost by the man in uniform.

you seemed to misunderstand me,What I said is that it doesn`t matter if we are for the military or against it or for war or against, the cold fact is that we ARE going to war! and I said That the North Koreans are fools, because they broke the treaty they made with the U.N.

Darthdarrell: thanks for clearing that up and I agree with you that when they broke the nuclear missile treaty it was a stupid thing to do.

Happy Snapper: when I used England I should have said Britain but being lazy I type England because its easier to think about when you only have 4 hours of sleep under your belt.
