Huh! So they are removing it to make room for a new pavilion or attraction Right? :lookaroun :animwink:
Roughly half of the remaining structure was removed last night. Only a small section at each end now remains.
No pictures due to this morning's storms.
Your expectations were correct. The structure is now completely demolished.I would expect the rest gone by tomorrow morning.

There's nothing left to take a picture of. :lookaroun But I'll grab some for posterity here in a bit.
Cooling down at the Boardwalk right now.![]()
I never knew there was a tram there. When did it stop running? What did it look like?

The tram ran before the Boardwalk hotel complex was built. The actual wooden walkway was there, but construction on the hotel, shops, restaurants, etc. was delayed for several years and went through several iterations). But I digress. The tram ran along that boardwalk to stops at Swan/Dolphin, and the edge of Yacht Club furthest from the Beach Club. It looked like your standard tram, although someone else will have to fill in teh details as to size (my sense is that it was narrower than the parking lot trams, but I don't have a pic).
Once the hotel/restuarant/shops opened up, there was way too much pedestrian traffic on the boardwalk, so the tram stopped in favor of more boat service.
So they ran something like this then?

Mind the tram car please.
The trams were standard parking lot trams, but in pastel pink and blue to mirror the Y&B
