International Gateway Entrance Only For Resort Guests?

Is the Intl. Gateway entrance only for resort guests to use?

We'd like to leave EPCOT and go to the Beach Club for dinner and then go back to EPCOT but remember hearing that the entrance was only for resort guests.

Any help would be appreciated!

I've never heard that. There is no parking for that entrance, so you either have to arrive by foot or boat, but no one has ever asked to see my resort key, and I've usually used an AP for entrance. Guests also take the boat from the studios, and they aren't always resort guests. I've never seen anyone asked to show a resort ID.

In the past 20+ years I've never been asked to show resort ID on any Disney transportation (with the exception that I was asked my destination on a friendship launch between MGM and the Epcot hotels). The international gateway is certainly open to anyone, I used it last Friday. Furthermore, make sure you take the short cut under the bridge if coming from Yacht/Beach Club instead of walking over it, you've got enough walking coming up ; )
