ok went back and watched the time lapse, it looks like it was a flood light probally for some sort of work they were doing overnight, it stayed on the whole time it was dark.

I never knew they turned the lights on Spaceship Earth off during the night...

I guess I presumed they're always on when it's dark...

Cool.

You mean this light:
010820060000_s.jpg

Which when compared to the day image which looks like this:
010820061000_s.jpg

Does not appear to be from in the park, the light appears to be more North East in the parking lot area.

Im sure it has something to do with the Marathon.

It was definately the Marathon...The biggest light (probally the one in the picture) was located in the Wonder Lot towards the back row.

I am wondering if it might be a reflection from something close. Given the size and brightness of the light you never see any light being shed on the Buildings or on SSE.

If you slow down the cam to every 5 min. you see that the night with the bright light, SSE has its lights on all night but then the next night, the lights turn off at 2 AM...:veryconfu

The light is definitly off in the distance, as it is easier to see in this picture:

Most nights the SSE EPCOT wand lights turn off at around 2AM, there could have been a special event or something on the night your talking about.
