I'm sorry, but those look a little boring. "Yellow Mickey Mouse's' YA!

They still have their covers over them since they have not been unveiled yet. We won't know what they really look like until Tomorrow.

For a sample of the Mickey statues to be unveiled tomorrow, head to Yahoo! where they have a short article on the ceremony to be held tomorrow, as well as a pic of final touches being put on an Elton John Designed Mickey, complete with his trademark glasses, and others in the background. Some look pretty cool and awesome, while some others are a little odd, especially the the one with orange/rust colored ears and face or the clown one in the top right of the photo. Overall though, I think this is a very neat idea.

The yellow covers can kind of be seen though. I debated getting closer shots of some of the yellow ones. One of the Mickeys looks like it's dressed like the one in Steamboat Willie. One of them looks like it's dressed like a cave man. That's all I can remember now.

I find it interesting that the Yahoo article says that the statues will tour the US and then be auctioned. The tour is due to start in November of 2004. The statues are also supposed to be at Disneyland sometime in the Fall 2004.

Disneyland is supposed to have a "Celebrating 75 years with Mickey" sculpture exhibit now. Any pictures of it?

On the 18th, all 75 Mickey's were at the Disney entrance, right in front of the garden area under main street station. They are incredible!

If so, he looks very different. :(

Yea. It doesn't look like him to me, but it might be. The angle of the shot makes it tough to tell. The hair doesn't look like him at all.

I don't know that he would be out in the public like that without any security or escorts. I was in the Studios one day in 2001 and he had a several escorts with his party.
