Inside the Castle

But....but.....SWORDS ARE COOLER! :p
There is a knights package where they get a sword and shield. Yeah, my daughter's more a warrior than princess. (A mini Xena.) Wasn't the castle once the communications center where all the switchboards were located? If you get to stay in the suite, do they lock you in so you won't wander around MK while it's closed? I would be the one in trouble for trying to sneak out for a brief peek. "I'm just out for some fresh air...";)

I've always wondered what you do at night as well when staying in the castle suite. Are you allowed to wander and take photos? Can't remember from the pictures that I've seen but is there a TV in the suite? I know I've read about a stay that someone had at the suite in DL where there is a balcony and they walked out in the morning and watched people first enter.

DUUUUUHHHHHHH!!!!!! I totally spaced on showing my son that place the first two years we went.
Then when I thought about it, it was too late and it was already BBB. You should have seen his face when I recently told him about it and that the place was all medieval coolness!!! He was like.."WHY!!?? WHY!!??"

They did move the swords to the England area at Epcot World Showcase.

When they were doing this for the public.. you had an escort and people were allowed out in the parks for a limited amount of time at night. You didn't have free reign, but they did seem to let you out for awhile till you tired.. then tried to keep you in the suite.

It is the last line of defense for the zombie apocolypse . Giant Steel gates will close off the entry to the rest of the lands from the hub making a kill zone for the zones that will bottleneck. Sniper turets, missle launchers will be deployed taking out the zombie hoarde. The real secrect is what is hidden in the partners statue.....

Always a shopping spot for me. When it WAS in the castle it was a neat shop ( had that medieval feeling connected with a castle) that was full of fascinating things, but now at UK there are only 2 display cases of swords & daggers, isnt all the merchandise there used to be.

I remember seeing a Disney 365 about the suite on Disney Jr. recently and it has a large flat screen tv.
