Inside Out 2

I think this was expected, I prefer originals over sequels but they’d be crazy not to make a third IO movie after how successful the second was.

Better yet, Disney announces Inside Out ride for Disneyland's Tomorrowland.
I feel like it’s inevitable at either MK’s Tomorrowland on the Stotch theaters for a small attraction or Wonders of Life for a big one.

Disneyland’s Tomorrowland seems like the logical place for an attraction too, tho the land needs so much money you could theoretically end up with Buzz and CoP demolished to make way for it, so Orlando definitely seems like the easier location if they just wanted to plop it down someplace. Maybe they’ll clone it for both and just have the environments totally different like Runaway Railway.

So maybe both. Who knows.

There’s no way there aren’t plans underway though.

Too big of a hit. The Incredibles is the other Disney IP I’m like how does this not have a ride?

Though Nemo is also extremely underutilized. Seas needs improvement and maybe an additional ride. Other than that I feel like Wall-E is the other Pixar IP that’s screaming for representation, which also has that space/future themed aesthetic that they have limited IPs to pull from despite a lot of park space dedicated to that concept.

So I’d prefer a Fantastic Four Star Tours overlay, a PeopleMover redo, new TRON coaster (if there’s room, maybe they integrate it with a new PeopleMover going around the land), some small but noticeable references to Meet the Robinsons and Brad Bird’s Tomorrowland, and a Wall-E dark ride for Disneyland’s Tomorrowland.

You’d need backstage areas too and maybe the Magic Eye theater, but there’s enough room for all of this if you take out CoP and Buzz, which they should in fact do. The land needs more walking space, anyway. I’d honestly make the land two stories in parts. They should get really creative with it.

And while the Nemo subs are a bad concept honestly, the lagoon itself is so beautiful, I think losing that is worse than losing MK’s Rigers of America honestly. Walking around Matterhorn is just surreal. Plus, it has a lot of tracks for the PeopleMover and Monorail, and Autopia is actually a good ride and I think achieved its aims so much better than Orlando, or even Paris’ solid attempt. So I’d keep that. The small area that used to be used for the boats next to IASW should be replaced by Tangled from Tokyo, honestly. Frozen is too big of an IP for that space (tho that didn’t stop them from being morons not giving it an E-ticket in Paris or even Hong Kong).

Walle-E, Figment, and Inside Out could all just stick to EPCOT for now. I think presentation-wise they’d align a lot more with modern day EPCOT than a retro-futuristic, OG, stylized Tomorrowland.

I’m just sad no one is talking about Wreck-It-Ralph it seems. If Inside Out goes to EPCOT, reviving that sugar rush simulator concept for MK would be so fun. I wonder what they’d put in Laugh Floor, though. At MK, replacing the Speedway with a split-land design to expand both Fantasyland, say with an Alice in Wonderland miniland and ride, and Tomorrowland, say with a lagoon and fountains (sort of like Disneyland’s but way smaller) on the Space walkway side, and have a path that cuts across it and you have like a Wreck-It-Ralph ride (and maybe a Big Hero Six battle bots restaurant) that is technically closest to TRON. Which would actually work nicely as a spiritual expansion of the area with computers. Maybe you could add Flynn’s Arcade too. I mean, it would actually transition just so much better. MK could obviously also use Moana or Aladdin in Adventureland and they could replace the circus tents with another Fantasyland miniland while they’re doing Alice in Wonderland. Maybe Tangled, Cinderella, 101 Dalmatians, or a larger Peter Pan area.
