Inferno Barge out for Feb

I thought it just got back? That kinda blows, I didn't get a chance to see it in Sept and then I will be missing it next week....what is the point of the show really???? If there is no big boom and burning your eye brows off....

That was the Earth barge that was out.

I only remember the Earth Barge being out of service then.. not the inferno Barge (FIRE!!!)

The inferno barge was out back in '05 at one point, if I remember correctly. But I don't recall how long it was out of commission.

So it'll basically be out all of February? Boo... There goes seeing Illuminations in it's fully glory on my trip. Hopefully it'll be getting some needed TLC. :D

Yep it went out in Sep 2005 to end of Jan 2006. That was due to the issues with the air launch pyro that malfunction. It went out for investigation and rework, and was also refurbed at the same time. I remember when it cam eback from refurb it was vicous. Really kicking it out.

Yeah when we saw RoE in December '07 it was intense! I was so happy to see the inferno again. :) DH had never seen it before and he was amazed with being able to feel the heat from it, given that we were watching from the steps over in Canada.

That oughta cut down costs quite a bit in February. I imagine that's an expensive effect. Personally, I always thought it was kind of wasteful, but it is a powerful effect.

No guarentees but I'll see what I can do. We'll be going up probably mid to late February so if the barge is still MIA, then I'll see what I can capture. :wave:
