I know that DTD has a lot of shops that sell infant clothing. My question is, What is the quality like? My wife and I are expecting a our first child in Nov. We will be at WDW in late Sept. And we are planning on buying a lot of infant clothes there. Just was asking so we know what to expect. Thanks.

Be sure to check them out at your local Disney Store first! I just bought some awesome baby shorts and shirts for around $2.99 each while I was traveling through Indianapolis and Chicago!

Also, the Disney Store website often (about every day! ) has great clearance items on sale for every member of the family!

Buying stuff at either of these places is sure to be MUCH cheaper than buying them at WDW and having to cart them back home!

Good Luck!

I've found the clothes (and other items) that I have bought at WDW - as well as the Disney store - to be of varying quality, but almost always quite good.

2 comments, though -

#1 - Remember that BABIES GROW SO FAST. So it is difficult to know how long their clothes last, because they don't get the opportunity to wear them often! I know other parents can relate when I say that I have plenty of baby clothes with the tags still on them (And we are on our 4th daughter).

#2 - That being said, clothes at WDW are so very expensive, IMO. A bib or onesie will be $12-$15 and up. It's tough (at least for me) to spend a lot on something that they may outgrow overnight! On the other hand, the Disney store can be quite reasonable. And their clearance is amazing.

Congratulations on the little one, and have a great time!

My 2 sons have plenty of Disney clothes, from the store, website and parks. The quality is fine, I've only been disappointed once. Just FYI I find the sizes run small, always buy a size bigger than you think you need, especially on pj's.

I agree with everyone about checking into the Disney store first. Their sales are really good, I find alot of stuff on clearance for my girls there. As for the quality of the stuff, I would have to say it is very good, my 6 year old has a shirt she got in WDW 4 years ago and it is still in great shape (a little faded but still good).

congrads,
when my cousin had a baby, we shopped at dw and bought alot of stuff, as well as the disney store. the stuff lasts, and is of good quality, she is on her third, and is still using the stuff!

This is so true. DH and I brought back a few outfits for our DD whose 9 months now but more like the size of a 1yr old. We bought 18 month outfits and they are fitting her now, perfectly. Definitely buy 1 or 2 sizes bigger.

We bought a onesie in DTD for our daughter last year. She still swims in the top half and the bottom half doesn't fit over her cloth diapers. Bleh.

Why doesn't Disney design and market adult onesies? I mean, you don't have to worry about outgrowing the darn things.
