I think that an Indy adventure will get built. That will probably be the next e-ticket ride. Hay, DL is finally getting the tower of terror after ten years.

Well, It wouldn't matter because noone would be able to tell the layout anyway. I couldn't notice the difference when I went on Indy from Dinosaur.

The last time the Indiana Jones Stunt Show was being remodeled they moved all the stunt men out to residential street to preform, but it was only temporary.

I wouldn't mind seeing the Indiana Jones ride there though...the Disneyland ride kicks major butt :sohappy:

As much as I would love to see it at WDW, it wouldn't seem sensible to replace the Indy stunt show with the Indy ride. That ride technology (used in Dinosaur) is unbelievably expensive. The building of that ride would cost around $100 million, and they would be replacing a show which is still filling the theatre and still popular. Plus, they just recently replaced the sound system and other technical parts of the show with brand new stuff, so I dont think they plan on tearing it down.

If anything, they would not get rid of the stunt show, but ADD a ride using the Indy-DL technology but theme it to something different. No need for two Indiana Jones themed attractions in the same park.

Nothing...
A third park has been in the planning stages for quite some time now and Universal recently bought tons of land across from their current parcel of land that can house another theme park and more hotels. Universal Resort was built in 1990 and Disney World was built in 1971. Obviously Disney has more to offer at this point but that doesn't mean Universal isn't becoming an increasing threat. Just my 2 cents.

The problem with Universal is they covered all their bases at once. Especially with IOA... They dont have any more themes LEFT!

IOA is no different from Magic Kingdom in terms of covering several themes at once. All of IOA is based on fictional fantastical worlds. They are no worse off than Disney was when they thought up an idea for a second park in Disney World.

Who says Universal's third theme park has to have a theme?! Just theme the rides at varying degrees and don't bother worrying if all the rides fit together logically in one park! It's the Universal way!

As for the Indiana Jones Adventure, if it is ever going to be built, and I think it will, now is the time, with the fourth, and possibly final Indy movie coming out in 2005.

Indy at MGM has been:

Discussed.
Designed.
Proposed and Considered.

NOT Greenlit. Not even close.

It's POSSIBLE at this point, but don't get your hopes up.

You wouldn't like that...

LOL no we dont want the DLParis Indy coaster, its terrible! That ride is close to my least favorite attraction in any Disney park. Its a close call between that and Dinorama. :)
