Increased Police Presence ?

Man, I guess I should look out. Never have seen them doing radar on property. I'm usually zooming through there too.
Ive been 8 times to WDW since '09 and I've seen at least one person pulled over every trip. Ive been shot with radar and even laser myself a few times at different hours of the day and night.

It's the Police State.

Care to explain how you feel that way or is that a failed attempt at humor?

Anyways - Here's the most common spots You'll see cops.

- In the Stol Port. 35mph speed limit.
- Behind the ToT sign on World Drive. 50mph speed limit.
- Under the overpasses at Backstage Lane on Epcot Center Drive. 50 mph speed limit.
- Immediately entering property in the median on Epcot Center Drive. 50 mph speed limit.
- Immediately north of I-4 on World Drive. 35mph speed limit.

I simply suggest sticking to the speed limit. Makes your life easier.

I wouldn't be surprised if every available car in a 1-mile radius or more responds to any call for a disturbance on Disney property. And then, once there, stick around, you know, to make sure everything's OK. Disney is the biggest employer around, so the willingness of police to always be at the ready makes them happy, and some of the police officers probably assume a disturbance on Disney property is still not going to be as potentially explosive or violent as a response to a call anywhere else in town. "hmmmm...drunken disorderly at Raglan or gun shots ringing out at the meth lab run by the Aryan nation by the city limits...and *I'M* 2 days away from retirement...what to do what to do? :D

That's not how it works.

Disney/LBV is it's own sector for OCSO.

Well judging by the people smoking weed in the parking lot and the kids running around their 2 car party zone, the police presence is welcomed. I was disgusted by that group of losers on our last trip.

It's just part of the Downtown Streetmosphere.
They want the place to feel like most any urban downtown.

Umm. Do your research on the ever growing police state.

And F.Y.I, I drive quite calmly and safely since my truck HAS TO carry me to WDW almost everyday

Oh look at da widdle cast member being all condescending on da interwebz. How cute.

I've been involved in dealing with the police at every level from local sheriffs to the Secret Service. Don't try to explain to me how it works. I'm well aware and what's happening here in orange county and the Walt Disney World resort does not come close.

Now if you want to talk the Crimea... Then your hyperbolic assertions might be more on the money…

That should more read "in before somebody emails screen caps to human resources"
What are screens caps? I've heard of "screen grabs", which is taking a snapshot, if you will, of what is showing on screen but not familiar with caps... This is the 2nd or 3rd reference in two days of caps.
