Hi i now on November the 4th it is your American general election day and need some advice. 1. Do you think it will be a lot quieter that day or does anyone have the day off to vote. 2. Do you get the results to your new president that day or the next and could any one tell me how it is declared. I am asking this to work around Disney at this time so we can make the best of this day thanks andy.

Most people do not get the day off to vote, we go before/after work or during lunch. We will find out who will be taking office the next day (unless there is a lawsuit like in the GW Bush/Al Gore battle), but they won't actually take office until January when there will be a ceremony in Washington DC, no day off fo that either.

I doubt the election will have much impact either way. TouringPlans.com crowd level canendar lists that day as a 6 out of 10 with 10 being the most busy.

It depends though too because that day falls during Jersey Week...where most schools have off for teachers conventions, so a lot of families take the kids to WDW that week. It isn't bad though...you may see more people from NJ than usual.

Jersey Week will impact the crowd levels a lot more than Election Day ever will. BTW, if you don't mind staying up late, we will know who won that night.

Actually hear more than see....

.....just kidding....:lookaroun

Probably by about midnight a winner should be projected. There will probably be more interest in the outcome of this election than there has been for the last decade or so.

The week would be very comfortable crowd wise.

You will also be able to catch the last week of Food and Wine at Epcot.
