In Room DVD Players at the YC?

I was wondering if anyone knows if there are DVD players in the rooms at the YC now? When we stayed last December we had one. I just called the front desk and they didn't really know. It's not listed as an amenity.

So was this a happy accident? Thanks!

I thought the DVD player was standard on the concierge level, but not the other floors. Did you stay on the concierge floor last time?

No, it was a water view.

I am looking at the official site for travel agents and it says that DVD players are available only in the suites. I dont recall seeing one, but I wasnt looking for it either. Hope this helps!!! Marie

Not sure about yc but blt and boardwalk have dvd players in dvc.:xmas:

I believe the DVC units all do have DVD players, but not the regular hotel rooms. Marie

I am pretty sure that the only non-suite rooms that have DVD players are DVC rooms. All DVC rooms have players and members can rent DVD's during their stay.

I had a feeling that we were lucky the last time. I thought that maybe with the room upgrades they'd added DVD players. Oh well, guess we have to bring our own. Thanks for all your responses!

Club Level rooms have DVD players. Because we would borrow DVDs from the Lounge on rainy nights during Hurricane Fay back when we stayed at Yacht Club.
