In need of a good ADR around MK??

We had to change our plans somewhat so now I need a good ADR around the MK area! I have a grandson age 5 with us and I am hoping to do something fun! I do have crystal palace and ohana on another day but is there something else that would be good?

California Grill, the Wave, and Chef Mickey at the Contemporary is a 5 minute walk from the main gate...I'd recommend either one...

There also the cafe at The Grand Floridian that's a monorail stop away...

Whispering Canyon at Wilderness Lodge would be fun with a 5 yr old. It is just a short boat ride away.

With a 5-year-old I'd consider Chef Mickey's, 1900 Park Fare or Kona.

Chef Mickey's, or CRT (if your grandson won't mind the princesses - my son was a bit embarrassed from the attention!). Be Our Guest, of course, but ADRs are hard to come by.

(Trying to throw you something you might not have contemplated. It's a great little find, a good value, and easily reached using Disney transportation. I won't say it's high-end by any means, but for the right group, it could fit in really well.)

You might consider doing 'Ohana twice -- once for the character breakfast, and once for dinner. The menus are completely different.

1900 Park Fare is a great character experience.
Also - Chef Mickey is a classic!
If you are looking for none character - Grand Floridian Cafe is a hidden gem! YUM!
And Kona Cafe has great food for any meal at the Poly!

Another vote for 1900 Park Fare. Great character interaction, probably the most entertaining and engaging at WDW. My wife and kiddos love Chef Mickey's. I enjoyed it, but it isn't on my must do list.
