Do you think the MK or WDW will maybe sell an in memory pluto for Javier? With procedes going to his family or charity? This would be wonderful!! I intend to buy a pluto in his memory regardless on my next trip! God bless!

I would be very surprised to see anything explicitly pointing attention to the incident among the park's official merchandise; Disney doesn't want their younger guests asking why we're "remembering" Pluto when he's standing in front of them.

For those of us old enough and attentive enough to know about what happened, this cloud will hang over the parks for a while...but Disney isn't going to try to point out what happened to the average uninformed guest. It's just not the Disney way. I think any CM would understand and want it kept that way.

This is correct. Remember that many children think these characters are in real like what they seem to be in front of them. Javier, God rest his soul, but, Disney will not hang on his death and will move forward, which is the right thing to do I feel in this situation. Children just would not understand at all.

I think Steamboat Kevin, was kidding. Since...he's young right?
There not gonna sell anything that has to do with Javier, they don't want the kids to know. This is going to last forever.

Not really a good time to be kidding around ;)
He will live on in our hearts :(

That's not what I mean Kevin..

I meant since we were talking about characters, and kids believing them and stuff.

"You said who is Javier, and what does he have to with Pluto"?

I thought you meant like who is Javier, and what does Javier have to do with Pluto. Meaning like you were joking about that Javier was Pluto. And the whole magical thing. Sorry if that seems confusing.

I didn't know that you didn't know about Javier.

I'm not gonna say any more about this. I lost myself...

they won't do it...

it's bad enough having to explain to the kids in the parks that Pluto didn't die... rather his friend did... but then having to explain that?

Not to mention, it's in terrible taste.

It's a good sentiment, and I'll never look at Pluto w/o thinking about him but I don't see it happening. Try explaining it to a three or five year old.
