Since many posters here seem to be either in elementary school or just plain stupid, I'd like to point out SpellCheck.net. It's really easy to use. Type whatever you are going to post into their text box, click the SpellCheck Text button, make corrections, and copy the corrected text to the forums.

Unfortunately this only checks spelling so some of you will still end up looking like complete fools. Here are some other things that many of you need to work on:

1. Smilies make your posts look stupid. If adding smilies to your text significantly enhances the meaning of the text then you really need to work on it. Save them for your AOL chat rooms.
2. Check back a few pages or use the search feature to make sure you aren't posting repeat topics. Chances are someone has posted about that saucy Beastly Kingdom or monorail rumor before.
3. If your signature is longer than your average post, it's too long. No one needs to know your life history every time you post.

Let's all work hard to make these forums stupidity free!

Before someone takes that the wrong way and starts an argument, you may want to soften your language. ( I've learned that one from experience! :))

Well, as long as it helps get rid of that new "Internet Slang Language" such as not typing out words. I mean, come on folks... the "Y" and "O" keys are right near that "U" key... it's not that hard to type the full word... "you"

And please... if you refuse to use the Shift key... turn the caps lock off. I would rather read an all lowercase post than an all uppercase post. Oh, and I'm sure your keyboard has punctuation keys too.

I'd like to say that in my opinion, Proper use of the emoticons can add meaning to the text. For example, often times sarcasm is lost in the internet. Adding an emoticon can convey that sarcasm. But like I said, proper use would be nice.

That's an excellent point about the smileys. Steve has given us a wide array of emoticons, obviously they are there to be used. Message boards are casual places, we shouldn't get overly caught up in being perfectly proper. :)

I agree about the signatures and the search button... but I totally disagree with you on the smilies... I will quote Fantasia Boi on this one: "I'd like to say that in my opinion, Proper use of the emoticons can add meaning to the text. For example, often times sarcasm is lost in the internet. Adding an emoticon can convey that sarcasm."

Lime, if you were joking, please add an "emoticon" now... otherwise, your post was kinda rude. Very blunt, but it comes across rude because you didn´t use an emoticon.

Lets see how much longer this very rude thread lasts. Yes spelling could be improved but there are these little things... you know they are called mistakes.

Also, I like the smilies. I like this one --> the most. (SO BACK OFF!!!)

Tramp you are right, this is a stupid post and a waste of bandwidth. So lets just let this thread die and save Steve some money.
