Impossible Disney Feats

I remember one day back in 1997 in the MK where we rode SM like 7 times, HM x3, Small World, Pirates, Thunder, Splash, TTA x3 (at least), Mr Toad, Peter Pan, Tiki Room, and COP. Yeah, it was a great day, and it even closed early. It was also the last day of Mr Toad.

Also, I remember going to all 4 parks on Jan 9, 1999, which included Horizons and Test Track (which was brand new at the time), Food Rocks, and Living Seas (the Seacabs).

We rode ToT 13 times in one night. It was during EMH and they had a showing of Fantasmic going, so we literally were getting off the ride and walking right back on. It was so much fun. I would love to try and beat that personal record when we go back in December!

I am going to have to try this!

I got very lucky once and visited WDW, DLR and DLP all in the same week. Weird set of circumstances. I live near Orlando so that helps. I had a trip to Disneyland planned last year for my birthday. Then I got called out of town for work in Paris. Hit Paris during the week. Came home and hit WDW on the weekend and then flew out for Disneyland that Monday. Crazy times.

We're also working our way though all the WDW resorts. We still have AKL, FWC and all the All Star resorts and we can say we stayed everywhere on property!

I ordered a 10 piece McNugget at Epcot and they gave 6 pieces. I showed them the plate and they picked up a huge handful of McNuggets (20 pieces) and put them on my plate at no charge. I told the guy working the counter service that "Dreams really do come true at WDW". I thought he was going to fall over from laughing so hard.

Soarin' five times in a row with absolutely no wait.

BTMRR seven times in a row—without getting off.

Seeing Mickey's ear fall off during a parade.

Running through a completely empty MK for fun.

Jogging around WS before Epcot opened.

Walking almost smack into Uma Thurman. :D

Well, I can't really take credit for this, because we were just lucky....

We were given a complimentary upgrade from the least expensive deluxe room to a club level room on our TWO most recent trips. First at the Polynesian, and the next at the Contemporary.

Both times I had booked a garden view room, and then got the upgrade. It was most special at the CR because I had prepared the kids that we wouldn't be in the tower, but in the garden wing, and we wound up in the tower 14th floor. Then while we were on our balcony one day watching a rainstorm, the most amazing rainbow appeared over bay lake.

Talk about feeling spoiled! It was definitely magical (and probably near impossible to repeat)!

I haven't done this, but I'd like to be able to go to Tokyo Disneyland, Disneyland Anaheim and then Magic Kingdom in one day.

It is possible due to the time differences!

Thrill day

I do a 4 park in 1 day called thrill day... I hit the thrill rides of each park.....
Ak: Dinosaur, EE
MGM: Tot, rnrc
Ec: Mission: Space, Test Track, Soarin'
Mk: the mountains..

I'm thinking of doing the craziest feat. First three days in Dl from Sunday- wednesday. Take A disney cruise from thursday til sunday and spend 3 more days at WDW..

You think it's possible lol

What about endurance?

I once went to Magic Kingdom with absolutely nothing No eating, drinking, buying, picture-taking for 8 hours - it was actually interesting.

Technically, I went during a cooler time. That might be a cheat...

Seeing Mickey's ear fall off during a parade.

Walking almost smack into Uma Thurman.
 Wonder how they reacted to a lopped ear...

And was a near miss with Uma meant escaping the 5 Point Palm Exploding Heart technique? :lookaroun

Back in the late '90s, I visited all the Disney parks in the world in the same calendar year -- MK, EPCOT, D-MGM, DAK, DLP, DL, and TDL. Of course, now I'm aware that there are quite a number of people who do this every year, but back then I had no idea that there were other people who would have had the interest to try something like that.

Last year, I visited DLR on a one-day park hopper, and did every attraction in DL other than the carousel and Dumbo, including 7 rides on the Matterhorn -- and snuck over to DCA in the afternoon to watch Golden Dreams and do ToT twice, and Screamin', Soarin', and GRR once each. I also squeezed in shopping and one meal (Blue Bayou).

A few years ago, I visited TDL on a very crowded public holiday, and managed to do every attraction in the park except for the carousel, Dumbo, and the raceway -- and Pooh's Hunny Hunt three times. I also managed to squeeze in shopping and two sit-down (though hastily eaten) meals.

I managed all this through the judicious use of FastPass, Single Rider where available, very brisk walking, minimal bathroom breaks, and very long days (getting to the parks at opening and staying until past closing -- I got the very last ride on the Matterhorn as the CMs were shutting it down).
