So I've been away for awhile..Big deal. I am back somewhat, So I figured I'd post a ride idea...
Imagination is floundering and needs to be returned to its normal state. Basically, I wanna take the Old ride, fuse it with a few things (namely Horizons) and pop it out of the oven toasty-fresh and kid friendly.
So, you enter your car, same cars that have been there since the opening. Only now, each seat is equipped with unique, stylized and whimscally designed and collared contraptions. Held like a gun, but far from being similar to one, they are your 'Spark Finders'..The ride progresses into the round room, where Dreamfinder will return! It will almost be the same as the original, only supped up with better effects, and better AA's...Dialogue will progress almost the same as the original, up to where Figment is created, some slight alterations will be made..
DF: Yes Figment, everyone can Imagine! All if takes is that on little spark..
Fig: Yeah, but how do you find a spark? Where can you buy one?
DF: You can't Buy a spark, but there are lots of ways that you can get one, why your minds are full of them..Lets Journey into Imagination and see if we can't find a few sparks...Then, we'll put them into the Dream Vault, and see what we can come up with! So, when you see a spark, be sure to suck it up with your Spark Finders! Here we go!

The ride would progress in this fashion--

Well, atleast the first half would, anyways.
The first room you'd enter would be completely grey. Nothing would have any color, even the water (which would currently be still and calm) would be dark.
Fig: Wait a secod...this place isn't very imaginative! It's really bland..
DF: Yes..yes..But everything is at first...just wait..a brainstorm will hit..
Fig: A brain wha-? Eek!
A sudden burst of lightining would stop Figment in his tracks, thunder rumbles and lights flash. Then the lightining in the room has returned to normal, with the addition of bright blue fiber optic sparks all over the place..
DF: See, Look! All it takes is a little day-dream and voila! You've got a spark!
Song starts up, and the guests are free to "shoot" at the fiber optic sparks, elicting a different response. LIghts would change color, over-the-top bright flowers would grow from the ground. Walls would spin to reveal detailed dioramas, the water would turn into a fountain, shooting water light by submerged lamps..The song carries on into the next room..
Fig: Wow, whats next? What else can we do with Imagination?
Df: Why, we can make all sorts of things, just try your hand at inventing!
Your car would circle around, essentially, a pile of junk. Sparks would slowly appear, once again with the help of FIber Optics, you'd shoot, and The junk would suddenly star assembling itself into various odd-ball contraptions that serve no real purpose. but that look really neat, or that are familiar but perform some odd-ball task..Like a fish-toaster...On second though, that one's kinda dumb, scratch that. How about a Phonograph that spits out confetti instead of music? Ideas are pretty boundless here.
Combination is similar to Invention, but It's unique in it's own way...It would be a bunch of Dioramas that would have sparks, you'd shoot, then the diormas would spin around to reveal a new one, where everything has been comically switched around..
(Rabbits pulling a magician out of a hat, sawing a woman in half..)
(Jungle scene getting all mixed up...Hippos with girraffe lower-halfs, gorrilas mixed with tigers, etc..)
You get the point.
Next, You'd enter a dark room, where nothing but an Illuminated bright gold vault looking door stands infront of you...
Fig-Wow! SO many things you can do, seems like the possibilities are endless, so long as you use your imagination!
DF- Thats it! It seems like You've gotten hold of the key to imagination!
A burst of air, and the door swings open, you enter a huge, themed room, which is essentially Imagination itself, it's sorta a re-cap of the other rooms you just went through, all combined into one, anything can happen, and it does. After this room, you'd exit through another vault door, and into a small room, with a victorian style machine, with large pumps and dials...
DF-Look at all the Sparks you've collected, you've filled the vault to the brim!
FIg-Look at all those Ideas! What are you going to do with them?
DF-My machine here will sorts them and sends them out so other can dream them up...You see, the future is built on people's dreams..
Fig-The future, huh? So what do you imagine the future will hold for us?
DF-Well, why don't we take a look?
He'd twist some nobs and turns some dials, and another door would open, you'd head in and into--You guessed it, a-la-horizons, the underwater scene, redone and re-imagined
DF- Our dreams can make an entirely new way of life for us..taking us under the sea...
Move next into the Desert scene, complete with The oranges
Df-Or maybe to places you'd never think of living, like in the middle of the desert
Fig- Wouldn't it be hot?
As fig says this, you'd pass an AA Who's outside, and obviously getting overheated
DF- Not if we dream up a way around that! Go ahead, try!
Fig- Well, lets see...(straining noises) There we go!
Little robots would run around the AA's feet with comical little fans, much to the AA's relief.
DF- See! You have the hang of it!
Move to the next scene, Space Station
DF- Our dreams might one day even take us into the stars, and beyond...
After the space station scene, you'd enter a decently large room, all the walls would be completely covered in the fiber optic lights, below you, a HUGE and I mean HUGE model of an expanded EPCOT model, the ORIGINAL epcot, the working city, with moving parts and everything..
DF-You see Figment, Imagination has the power to completely re-shape our way of life..If we can dream it, we most definetly can do it..
You car would spiral around the model, making sure you get a good view,a nd get a chance to here the awe-inspiring emotion stirring music, before you enter the current loading bay, which is still the same sparkling walls..An AA of Figment is on the wall, talking to Dream finder who is unseen.
Figment-So everyone can Imagine, huh? And we have the ability to change the world with our dreams and hopes..Who would have ever thought that it started, that it all began with one little spark...
He would snap his fingers and the room would flood with light. You know, those one-sot strobe lights that leave you somewhat blinded? Well, thats what would happen, and the room would be lit-up once more, figment would be gone, and you'd exit.
So there, thats the whole ride. Tell me what you think, please
