Trip Report I'm Tagging Along ~ LIVE! *COMPLETED*

Almost everybody has one ~ a friend or relative who doesn't think twice about inviting his/her self along with whatever you have planned.

I never thought I'd be that person.

Fortunately, I have a very understanding family who is actually excited about my joining them at WDW. < Phew! >

It's been a year since my last live trip report, so I hope I can do @JenniferS and her fans proud!

M was captivated by the flamingo skull.

"I love flamingos! I love animals! I love Animal Kingdom!"

Apparently she gets most of her DNA from the maternal side of her family.

Her daddy feels the same way about AK that we do, @Tony the Tigger.

Add me to your special club list too. Almost 2 weeks and we did just under 3 hours at AK. I would have liked to have seen the Tree at night but wasn't will to go all the way out there to look at a lit up tree. But I did enjoy my full slab of ribs at Flame on the free dining plan though.

I learned two things tonight.
1. It is impossible to live trip report during thunderstorms.
2. It is impossible to live trip report around little kids who love their Aunt Tuvalu. :inlove:

The original plan had been for me, mom and dad to go to Epcot....get some F&W Festival food, see Air Supply and hopefully cross paths with @Tony the Tigger.

The arrival of the monsoon at 6:15 p.m. changed all that. My mom contacted my brother and decided we should surprise the kids tonight rather than tomorrow night. We would meet them at their room in the Contemporary. Though my folks have their car, the three of us were soaked when we got to it ~ umbrellas don't block sideways rain!

The kids were so excited to see us!

M told me that "Kate got to swim with the duckies at Epcot and a man with a big pole had to get her out."
Seems M accidentally dropped Kate in the water near the Seas with Nemo and friends and a cast member had to fish the doll out. Kate is "fine now" in case you were worried. :p

My brother said they were able to watch the storm roll in from their balcony. This was the view when we were there:

I remember that storm. That was the second storm we got stuck in, both at MK.

I just love that look your niece has on her face (adults you are all weird)

She has such a lovely head of hair and yet I just want to pull up in a couple of piggytails. She looks so warm in so many photo's. The boys seem to be coping with it better. I'm just loving your Dad's NAP time. :inlove:

We walked down the exit ramp and were surprised to discover it was raining. Cast members do not allow you to linger in that area so we made a beeline for some coverage. The rain only lasted a few minutes and then we looked upward and saw the most beautiful (even more beautiful than the castle!) perfect rainbow in the sky.

I remember this rain as well. At least this one was a short one.

Looks like everyone was having a good time.

@Doc Disney, it's pouring at MK now! :arghh: :( We may get rained out of MSEP too!!

My parents REALLY wanted to see it for old times sake.

Wishes is supposed to start at 8. Will probably be delayed.

We are so bummed it is raining but at least we are inside the Haus and dry.
We were at HS and don't remember rain. But then again we were inside having dinner.

Friday September 23

Mom told me to sleep in this morning. I made it to 6 am instead of 5 am.

Everyone wants a later start so I'm going solo for awhile.

Packed, checked out and had breakfast.

Had to have my Mickey (oops, POP) waffles this trip! :hungry:

Now on the bus to the most Magical Place on Earth.

Won't make the Welcome Show as the park opened at 8 am. Not bummed as I could have made it if I'd wanted to. Like the rest of my family, I'm moving a little slower this morning.

Thus far I have not been "randomly selected" to go through the metal detectors. I have one more park to visit so we'll see if my luck holds out.

A CM stopped me after I entered the turnstile and asked if I would be willing to fill out a survey once I was home. Absolutely....Disney needs Tuvalu feedback!

I have previously attended 3 MNSSHPs. All 3 it rained. Two were complete wash outs.

Not sure I will ever attempt another. Anyone going to MNSSHP tonight can be certain it won't rain as I will not be there.
