I'm so HAPPPPPYYYYY!!!!!

I had my audition for an entertainment transfer today...









And I passed! Yay! I was a nervous wreck over it because so many of the people I've been talking to in entertainment lately said that they had to audition multiple times to pass. They said they should be able to make the transfer & put me on schedule within 2-4 weeks maximum as they open up more holiday positions, so I'll still be in Fantasyland till then.

The one depressing thing....I've always been between 5ft.3 & 5ft.4 when being measured. Today, they had me at 5ft.2! OMG!!! I'm shrinking!!!

Entertainment is global, so I'll be everywhere. I'll be like a mysterious surprise...popping up ALLLLLL over WDW.

Till then, as of Thanksgiving Day, I'll be back at IASW, Ariel's, Peter Pan & that God forsaken Carrousel. Seriously, I love working attractions at FLand, but I think the character thing is more "me".

I'm doing really well! I've got a project I'm working on (that has been something of a holy grail for the past ten years), and I'm just starting to see a hint of positive results. If it works the way I hope, I'll be applying for my next patent soon:sohappy: (of course the downside to that is more contact with patent lawyers: "Well I don't understand Mr. Hoover, could you explain in detail exactly how this won't make elephants fly?":brick: ).

Thanks hon! 'Bout time ya heard something happy coming from me lately, eh? :animwink: I know I didn't really "shine" in the movement routine, but people I know in entertainment told me to just go there & display my vibrant personality :lol: , so I did & I'm sure THAT got me in moreso than my physical skills.

When they measured me & called out the result, I jumped from the chart & said "eek, I'm shrinking. I demand a re-measure. Can we try again with the shoes on?" He found that amusing, but then told me I can get better characters with 5ft2 anyway. Ya know I have a complex about my height anyway though. Oh well, it got me to Pooh! Ummm..that sounds odd.
