On Saturday at 6am I'm leaving my house to take that short 9 hour hop across the sea to sunny Florida and, of course, Walt Disney World.
I'd like to thank WDWMagic.com and everyone on the forums for making the build-up to my trip even more special. This will be my 7th trip to WDW since 1991 when I was 6 years old, and this time I'm bursting with so much extra Disney knowledge that I'm sure I can keep my family entertained/annoyed for three weeks. And that's mainly thanks to this site, and the very friendly and clued-up people here. This site and reading the stuff here was also one of the things that helped me through the hardest and most important exams of my life so far. It also might have had a negative impact on my grades, but anyway... THANK YOU ALL!
This trip will be extra special for me as I'm taking my Dutch girlfriend with me. She's never been to WDW before (or America), so I'm really excited about viewing things through the eyes of a first-timer. And I WILL try my hardest not to spoil any Disney surprises or point too much stuff out to her.
I know when I come home I'm going to be really sad and feel awful, like I always do. But I'm going to try and still visit the forums, because I like keeping in the know and hearing from you all.
I'm gone 20/7 to 11/8, ready for my exam results on 15/8...
Thanks again. If anyone has any final tips for me or requests for photos from my (crappy) digital camera, then please say them soon!
